Final member meeting and important update from
Think Local First Board of Directors
Dear Members, friends and supporters of Think Local First of Washtenaw County,
Well, it’s been a great run.  For many years, Think Local First has promoted independent, locally-owned businesses as a way of supporting a vibrant, diverse and interesting community.
The leadership of Think Local First strongly believes that Washtenaw County has grown and evolved into a community that genuinely “thinks local.”  New organizations have emerged to promote and support our businesses, and many existing entities have increased their focus and attention on the importance of locally-based business and local procurement to our economy.  We could not be happier to see so much support for local business in our community!
At the same time, we have realized that our business model is unsustainable.  Therefore, we are planning to cease operations as of June 30, 2016, at the end of our current fiscal year.
We are having one final Membership Meeting to celebrate our members and the work that Think Local First has done over the years.  It will be at Conor O'Neils on Monday, April 25 from 5:30 to 6:30.
Please join us!
